About Judith Ann

Judith Ann Algeo built an academic foundation that blends liberal arts and law. She earned both a B.A. and an M.A. from LaSalle University before completing her J.D. at Temple University Beasley School of Law. Those degrees set the stage for a career concentrated in Pennsylvania courts.

Her early steps in practice led to leadership roles. In 1999 she was a shareholder at Algeo & Litzke, an arrangement that placed her in firm management as well as client work. By 2002 she was listed as a family law lawyer and shareholder at Eastburn & Gray, where she handled a range of family law matters while participating in the firm’s decision-making. In 2020 she joined High Swartz as a family law lawyer, bringing years of courtroom and negotiation experience to the firm’s domestic relations practice.

Over the years Algeo’s work has centered on divorce, child custody and support, equitable distribution, and related family court proceedings. Her record includes litigation and settlement work. She has prepared pleadings, argued motions, negotiated settlements and represented clients through trial when cases required it. Colleagues describe her as steady in court and attentive at the negotiating table.

Algeo’s practice shows a blend of courtroom readiness and case management. She has handled complex asset division questions and custody disputes that involved multiple parties and legal intersections. In several matters she represented clients through pretrial discovery, custody evaluations and final hearings. She has worked both for individuals seeking divorce and for those responding to actions brought by former partners.

Outside of casework, Algeo’s background in firm leadership has informed how she organizes cases and communicates with clients. Her experience as a shareholder earlier in her career meant regular involvement in administrative matters, staffing and mentoring younger attorneys. That perspective often shapes the way she delegates tasks and structures case teams.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and over the decades has focused on family law matters in the state’s courts. She currently practices family law at High Swartz.
