About Judd P.
Judd P. Koenig trained as a lawyer at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2000. He completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at Emory University in 1997. Those two institutions anchored a course of study that combined an interest in human behavior with legal training.
After law school, Koenig built his career at Franks, Koenig & Neuwelt. He has been part of the firm’s team for years, taking cases and managing files alongside colleagues. The firm maintains offices beyond its Florida base, and Koenig’s work has been shaped by that multi-state presence.
Colleagues describe Koenig as methodical in his approach. He prepares matters carefully and places a premium on clarity in written work. Court filings, client communications and negotiation briefs tend to reflect that preference for straightforward presentation.
Koenig holds current membership in the Florida State Bar. That active membership places him among lawyers licensed to practice in Florida and ties him to the state’s professional standards and continuing education requirements. He draws on that regulatory framework when advising clients and when coordinating with lawyers in other jurisdictions.
The firm where Koenig practices maintains several regional offices. In addition to its main office, the firm lists offices in Illinois and Georgia. Koenig regularly works with clients who are served through those locations and coordinates on matters that cross state lines.
Outside the office, Koenig’s background in psychology informs a measured courtroom manner. He pays attention to how testimony reads to jurors and how documents will play before a judge. That perspective shapes both trial preparation and settlement discussions.
He has not sought the limelight. Instead, Koenig’s reputation inside the firm rests on steady case management and an emphasis on practical outcomes. He works with colleagues across the firm to handle litigation and transactional matters as they arise.
Koenig continues to practice at Franks, Koenig & Neuwelt and serves clients from the firm’s Florida, Illinois and Georgia offices. His current practice centers on serving those clients through the firm’s multi-office platform.
