About Joshua L.

Joshua L. Weiner earned his law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2006, after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers University–Camden in 2003. He entered the legal profession in the mid-2000s and has maintained ties to both New Jersey and New York since his graduation.

Early in his career he joined Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C. He serves there as a lawyer. His role at the firm has involved practice across trial and appellate forums permitted by his admissions. He holds bar admissions in New Jersey and New York, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Weiner is active in professional circles. He is a current member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Sidney Reitman Inn of Court. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with local and regional legal communities.

At the firm, his work has required familiarity with federal and state procedure. He handles filings and appearances in trial courts and has the credentials to participate in appellate matters before the Second Circuit. He brings courtroom experience and practical case handling to his assignments, balancing written advocacy with in-court presentations when matters proceed beyond negotiation.

Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He prepares documents carefully and attends to procedural detail. That attention is important in the federal cases for which he is admitted and in the variety of matters that come through a general litigation practice. He mentors more junior lawyers and contributes to team strategies when cases turn complex.

Outside of casework he keeps connections to law organizations that emphasize professionalism and practice development. He participates in continuing legal education and local bar activities. He remains based at Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., where he represents clients in matters across state and federal venues. He focuses his current practice on representing clients in matters in state and federal courts.
