Joshua Frachtman earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, completing his J.D. in 2007 after beginning law studies in 2004. He entered the legal profession armed with formal training in trial advocacy, legal writing and the procedures that shape state court practice. School years included practical clinic work and classroom study that prepared him for immediate entry into law firm practice.
He began his professional career in 2007 at Conroy Simberg Ganon, joining the firm as a lawyer. The first position put him inside a firm environment where he handled client files, drafted court filings and supported litigation efforts. Colleagues from that period recall a steady presence at hearings and a focus on managing case details from intake through disposition.
In 2008 he moved to Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., again serving as a lawyer. That role expanded his exposure to different matter types and firm structures. He worked on matters that required coordination among attorneys, regular client contact and routine courtroom appearances. The move was an early sign of steady professional mobility and an appetite for varied legal work.
By 2012 he had joined Baker & Zimmerman, P.A. as a lawyer. At that firm he continued to take on litigation responsibilities and to refine courtroom skills. His time there overlapped with a period of deeper practical experience handling procedural deadlines, discovery disputes and trial preparation. He learned how to manage caseloads and to align client expectations with procedural realities.
Across these positions he built a practice grounded in the everyday tasks of a firm lawyer: drafting motions, preparing witnesses, negotiating settlements and appearing before judges. He developed familiarity with Florida’s court processes and the administrative demands of law practice. Those years produced a practical lawyer comfortable in firm settings and able to handle client-facing responsibilities.
He maintains his license to practice in Florida and continues to work from a main office in the state. His current practice is centered on serving clients in Florida matters and handling the litigation and client-management tasks that arise in that context.
