About Joshua
Joshua Brownlee entered the legal field after a steady academic run that mixed public safety studies with law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration from Florida Atlantic University in 2016. Four years later he completed his Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University, finishing law school in 2020.
His route into practice was direct. After law school he moved into private practice and by 2022 had taken on a leadership role as partner and lawyer at JT Law Office PA. The partnership title signals an early elevation within the firm. He splits his time between the firm’s offices, including a base in Boca Raton.
Brownlee is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court of Florida. That dual admission allows him to represent clients in both state courts and federal proceedings. He also maintains current membership in a professional association, staying connected to peers and the broader legal community.
Colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic. He aims to present legal options clearly and to give clients straightforward assessments of risk. He handles matters that arise in both state and federal contexts, drawing on courtroom admission to pursue litigation when necessary and to move cases through federal channels.
At JT Law Office PA Brownlee’s responsibilities include preparing filings, counseling clients, and appearing in court. The firm’s multiple locations give him access to a range of local dockets and client needs. Since becoming partner in 2022 he has taken on additional managerial duties alongside his legal work.
Outside of courtroom duties he has remained engaged with continuing education and the professional network that supports day-to-day practice. That engagement helps him keep up with procedural developments and case law that affect litigation strategy. He currently practices at JT Law Office PA, representing clients in matters in Florida and before the United States District Court of Florida.
