Joshua Anthony Hiller is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Hiller is the founder and managing attorney at Hiller Counsel, a law firm located at 660 Newport Center Drive, Suite 1000, Newport Beach, California 92660. He has been practicing law for over two decades, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Hiller earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he obtained his bachelor's degree. During his time at Pepperdine, he received certificates from the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Straus Institute for Alternative Dispute Resolution, enhancing his expertise in business and dispute resolution.
Mr. Hiller's practice areas encompass business law, insurance claims, and personal injury. He has extensive experience in civil and business litigation, handling cases involving business contracts, business dissolution, business formation, franchising, partnership and shareholder disputes, bad faith insurance, property insurance, car accidents, construction accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, truck accidents, wrongful death, tenants' rights, trademark litigation, trademark registration, and construction litigation. Throughout his career, Mr. Hiller has represented clients in various courts, including the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to founding Hiller Counsel, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in Los Angeles for several years, gaining experience in complex commercial disputes and personal injury cases.
Mr. Hiller is an active member of the California State Bar Association and has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers. He is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
