About Joshua A.

Joshua A. Verde built a career at the intersection of flight and law. He started at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science in 2002. He went on to earn FAA credentials, including Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor certificates. Those early years were rooted in technical training and the day-to-day realities of aviation.

He spent time in industry roles that applied that training directly. In 2009 he served as an aviation expert for Aerovise, LLC, giving him exposure to accident analysis and operational review. That practical experience informed his understanding of aircraft operations, maintenance standards, and regulatory processes.

Verde shifted toward law and completed a Juris Doctor at South Texas College of Law in 2012. That same year he worked in-house as counsel and corporate secretary for Platinum Energy Solutions, Inc. The role placed him inside corporate governance and compliance work. It also introduced him to commercial and energy-sector disputes that would later appear in his practice.

Since 2012 he has managed The Verde Law Office, PLLC. His admissions include the State of Texas, the United States Courts for the Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has maintained memberships in the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep him connected to local litigation developments and procedural practice in Texas courts.

His practice draws on aviation credentials and courtroom experience. He handles matters that involve aircraft operations, pilot certification issues, and regulatory compliance. He also handles corporate and commercial disputes that arise from energy and transportation businesses. In federal forums he has familiarity with district court procedures across multiple Texas districts and appellate briefing in the Fifth Circuit.

Colleagues describe him as someone who moves between technical aviation detail and legal procedure with relative ease. He combines knowledge of FAA rules and standards with experience in corporate documentation and litigation. That combination shapes how he prepares cases, advises clients, and approaches discovery and expert testimony.

Verde maintains an active presence in Houston’s legal community and stays current on developments affecting aviation and energy law. He is available for matters that require aviation expertise, federal litigation experience, or representation in state courts. His current practice focuses on aviation-related legal work and commercial litigation in Texas and federal courts.
