About Joseph
Joseph VanLandingham earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009. He completed his legal studies at a time when many new lawyers were navigating a strained job market. He entered practice equipped with a law degree and federal court admissions that would shape the next phase of his career.
He became admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in 2009, authorizing him to appear in both federal trial and appellate proceedings. Those admissions have remained current since that year. In 2017 he founded VanLandingham Law, LLC, establishing his own practice in Colorado. The firm reflects a move from practitioner to principal, managing matters and overseeing day-to-day operations.
His work has involved appearances in federal forums as well as state-level matters in Colorado. Admission to trial and appellate federal courts has allowed him to handle a range of court filings and oral arguments. He has guided clients through procedural stages that include motions practice, discovery disputes, and appellate briefing, and he has worked on matters that required familiarity with both trial court process and appellate standards.

Today he leads VanLandingham Law, LLC from its Colorado office and maintains active status in the federal courts to which he was admitted in 2009. He continues to represent clients in state and federal proceedings and to handle the practical demands of litigation and appellate work. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in Colorado courts and in the federal courts where he is admitted.
