About Joseph

Joseph Moro earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2015 after completing a bachelor's degree in Spanish at Georgia State University in 2010. He combined an academic grounding in language with the study of law, a pairing that has shaped how he communicates with clients and prepares cases. The path from undergraduate study to a Philadelphia law school helps explain an interest in cross-border and multicultural legal issues.

After law school Moro built a practice centered on immigration law and related matters. He is licensed to practice in Colorado and New Mexico and serves as the owner and managing lawyer of Moro Legal, LLC. In that capacity he oversees casework, client intake and the day-to-day operation of the firm. Colleagues and clients who have worked with him describe a hands-on manager who handles both the legal strategy and the practical details of running a small firm.

Moro is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, an affiliation that ties him to a network of lawyers who work on immigration policy and practice. That membership signals a sustained engagement with immigration law and continuing legal education in that field. He applies the training and updates from those professional circles to client matters and to the internal protocols at Moro Legal.

His academic background in Spanish is a practical asset in a practice that often serves Spanish-speaking communities. He studied the language at the undergraduate level and has used that familiarity to bridge communication gaps in client interviews and document preparation. That competence complements the legal work rather than replacing it; language helps streamline interactions and can reduce misunderstandings during complex proceedings.

Moro’s work at Moro Legal covers the full cycle of client service at a small firm. He manages case intake, case strategy and client communication while overseeing administrative functions. The firm handles immigration-related legal matters in Colorado and New Mexico, and Moro remains the point person for the cases the office accepts. He currently maintains a practice focused on immigration and naturalization matters at Moro Legal, LLC.
