Joseph Mancini is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1984 and holds bar number 115929. He has been practicing law for over 40 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Mancini earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 1983. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time at Western State University, he focused on courses related to business and tax law, laying the foundation for his future practice areas.
Mr. Mancini concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, health care law, and tax law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving business contracts, business dissolution, business finance, business formation, business litigation, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, partnership and shareholder disputes, guardianship and conservatorship, estate administration, health care directives, trusts, and wills. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mancini has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Watkins, Blakely & Torgerson LLP, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Costa Mesa for five years.
Mr. Mancini is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association. He is also a certified specialist in estate planning, trust, and probate law through the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Mancini is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
