About Joseph L.
Joseph L. Ring earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2012 after completing a B.A. in history at Saint Vincent College in 2009. He moved through a traditional academic path, combining a liberal arts undergraduate degree with three years of professional legal training. Those years at Villanova placed him in the middle of state and federal practice courses, clinical work and the routine demands of law school life.
Soon after law school he affiliated with the Pennsylvania legal community. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 2012. That membership has placed him in the same professional circles as trial lawyers, in-house counsel and other practitioners across the state. It also marks the start of his formal standing in the state’s legal system.
Ring’s courtroom and office experience took shape at Martin Law LLC. He joined the firm as an associate in 2015. In that role he prepared filings, researched statutory and case law, and assisted in hearings and settlement discussions. His early years at the firm involved the steady, often detailed work that supports litigation and client counseling: drafting motions, responding to discovery, and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel.
Colleagues describe his work as practical and steady. He has handled matters that require careful attention to procedural rules and deadlines. His background in history appears to inform a methodical approach to building factual narratives and organizing complex information into usable case files.
Outside the office Ring’s professional life centers on continuing legal education and bar membership activities. He has maintained active standing in the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 2012. That ongoing engagement keeps him connected to changes in state law and professional standards that affect everyday practice.
Today he practices at Martin Law LLC, where he continues to handle matters in Pennsylvania courts. His day-to-day work involves representing clients before state tribunals, preparing court submissions and advising on legal process. He remains based in Pennsylvania and practices law through his association with Martin Law LLC, attending to the procedural and substantive needs of clients in the state’s legal system.
