About Joseph
Joseph Knape built his legal foundation in the Midwest and then on Florida’s Gulf Coast. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University in 2004. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. Those academic years laid the groundwork for a practice that has moved between public service and private work.
After law school, Knape entered the ranks of lawyers who work directly with community needs. He has worked as a lawyer for Legal Services of North Florida, a regional legal aid organization. There he handled everyday legal problems that affect people’s lives and livelihoods.
