About Joseph J
Joseph J Registrato earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. He completed his legal education in Florida and moved into practice in the state soon afterward. School records and public listings record Stetson as the place where he built his foundational training in trial skills, legal research and appellate writing.
His early career concentrated on establishing a foothold in the Tampa legal community. He gained admission to the Florida bar and began handling matters in state court. Over time he developed a practice grounded in daily courtroom work and client counseling. He also maintains current membership in professional associations that serve lawyers in Florida.
Registrato’s work is rooted in state-level practice. He represents clients in matters arising under Florida law and appears before local and regional tribunals. He is comfortable in the courtroom and in negotiated settings. His experience includes advising individuals and local businesses on procedural and substantive issues relevant to disputes that play out in Florida courts.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach. He breaks complex problems into discrete steps and sets clear expectations for clients. That approach informs how he prepares cases, structures discovery and evaluates settlement options. He blends attention to detail with a practical sense of what each case will require to reach resolution.
In addition to casework, Registrato participates in community legal events in the Tampa area. He has spoken at panel discussions aimed at local practitioners and has attended continuing legal education programs to stay current on developments in state law. He keeps an active calendar of professional engagements and devotes time to mentoring younger attorneys in the office.
Today, he practices out of the Tampa Legal Team office. He handles a steady docket of matters under Florida jurisdiction and continues to build a local practice centered on litigation and client counseling in the Tampa Bay region. He currently practices with the Tampa Legal Team, where he concentrates on Florida state law matters.
