About Joseph G
Joseph G Lepore built his legal foundation in two corners of the East Coast. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University in 1984 and completed his law degree at Nova Southeastern University in 1987. Those years set the stage for a career spent largely in private practice, punctuated by a year on the bench as a law clerk.
After law school he entered private practice and returned to the courthouse in 1994 as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter E. Doyne, J.S.C. That experience gave him a closer view of judicial reasoning and courtroom procedure. Within a year he was back in private practice and began a long run of partnership roles at firms that carried his name in various combinations.
From 1995 onward his résumé lists successive partnerships: LePore, Zimmerer, LePore & Luizzi in 1995; LePore, Luizzi & LePore, P.C. in 1998; LePore, Luizzi, LePore & Blunda, P.C. in 1999; LePore, Luizzi & Rossi, P.C. in 2002; and, by 2005, partner at LePore Luizzi, LLC. The sequence reflects a steady presence in the same regional practice group, even as the firm’s name and structure shifted over time.
He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials allow him to pursue matters at both the state trial level and on appeals that reach the nation’s highest court. His clerkship experience and years at multiple partnership tables inform that work. Colleagues have noted that a background on both sides of the bench can be useful when preparing briefs or mapping litigation strategy.
In firm practice he has carried responsibilities typical of a long-term partner: case management, client counseling and courtroom advocacy. Over the years his role has involved mentoring younger lawyers and helping shape firm operations as the entity evolved from one iteration to the next. The firm listings show continuity of practice in the same community rather than frequent moves between regions.
Today he practices under the LePore Luizzi name and maintains office operations listed as Lepore & Luizzi. He handles matters in New Jersey and files work that may proceed to the U.S. Supreme Court, where he is authorized to appear.
He currently practices at LePore Luizzi, LLC, handling matters in New Jersey and filings before the U.S. Supreme Court.
