Joseph Francis Vinas is a board-certified criminal defense attorney based in Houston, Texas. Licensed to practice law in Texas since 2002, he has built a robust career dedicated to defending clients against many state and federal criminal charges. In 2010, Mr. Vinas co-founded Vinas & Graham, PLLC, where he focuses on providing comprehensive legal representation. His firm has become known for its commitment to client advocacy and effective defense strategies. Before entering private practice, Mr. Vinas served as a felony chief prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure, he tried over 80 criminal cases, maintaining an impressive undefeated record in jury trials.

His prosecutorial experience covered many serious criminal offenses, including capital murder, aggravated robbery, and sexual assault. This extensive background gave him unique insights into both sides of the legal system, enhancing his effectiveness as a defense attorney.
