About Jose L. Roman
Jose L. Roman III followed a conventional path into the law. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 2003. He then attended Widener University Delaware School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2010.
After finishing law school, Roman began practicing in Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice in the state and has carried his academic training into day-to-day legal work. Early in his career he moved from classroom theory to the realities of client counseling and case preparation. He has taken on the routines that define a working lawyer: drafting pleadings, negotiating agreements, preparing for hearings and advising clients on legal options.
Roman’s approach is pragmatic. He blends close attention to legal detail with a plainspoken style when explaining issues to clients. That combination helps in files that require both careful legal analysis and clear client communication. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his casework and steady at the courthouse podium.
Over time Roman has balanced time in and out of the courtroom. He prepares matters for trial and also works to resolve disputes before they reach litigation. He has experience handling procedural work, discovery, and settlement negotiations. He regularly draws on his law school training when building legal arguments, and on practical experience when counseling clients about risks and options.
Outside of filework, Roman engages with the broader legal community. He maintains memberships in professional organizations and participates in continuing legal education to stay current on changes in Pennsylvania law. That ongoing involvement keeps him attuned to evolving court rules and statutory developments.
Clients working with Roman can expect a straightforward review of their matters and a plan that maps next steps. He combines case management skills with attention to client priorities. He keeps files organized and attempts to move matters forward without unnecessary delay.
Today Roman practices in Pennsylvania, applying his years of experience to advise and represent individuals and organizations on state-law matters.
