About Jose Fabian Quiles
Jose Fabian Quiles III took his first formal step toward a legal career when he earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997. He built on that foundation by gaining admission to practice in both Connecticut and Texas, a path that has let him work on matters in two different legal cultures.
Quiles's career is largely shaped by trial work. In 2010 he served as a trial lawyer at Jacobs & Quiles, LLC, a role that put him in court on contested matters. He later joined Thomas J. Henry Injury Lawyers in 2017, where he continued to handle trial assignments. Those positions reinforced courtroom experience and familiarity with pretrial preparation, evidence development and advocacy under pressure.
In 2023 he moved to McCormick Law Office, taking on the title of lawyer there. That step represented a continuation of his practical trial work and a shift into a different firm environment. His roles over the years have ranged from courtroom advocacy to case management and client contact. Colleagues and clients have encountered him in depositions, hearings and trials.
Quiles’s dual licensure in Connecticut and Texas allows him to navigate procedural differences between two state systems. He is experienced in managing the tactical and logistical demands that come with multi-jurisdictional practice. He understands how discovery schedules, motion practice and trial calendars can vary from one state to another, and he adjusts case plans accordingly.
Throughout his career he has handled contested matters that required litigation strategy, document analysis and courtroom presentation. He has worked on teams and also taken lead roles in trial settings. His professional development has been grounded in repeated courtroom exposure, where rulings, jury reactions and judge interactions shape legal judgment over time.
As of 2026 he practices at McCormick Law Office. He continues to accept contested matters and to appear in court where trial and litigation work is required, maintaining an active practice in the jurisdictions where he is licensed.
