About Jordan Thomas

Jordan Thomas Schuetzle built his professional foundation at the University of North Dakota. He earned a B.S. in Political Science with a concentration in Economics in 2001. He stayed in Grand Forks for law school and received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2005. Two years later he added an M.B.A. from the same university, joining legal training to formal business study.

Those academic steps shaped how he approaches legal work. The law degree provided the tools to interpret statutes and manage litigation dynamics. The M.B.A. added financial literacy, strategic planning and a perspective on organizational decision-making. Together, they inform a pragmatic style that emphasizes clear explanation and practical outcomes over academic abstraction.

Schuetzle is admitted to practice in North Dakota. He has spent his career working with clients in that jurisdiction. His practice has remained anchored in the state, where he handles matters that require both legal knowledge and an understanding of economic and business considerations. Colleagues say he explains complex issues plainly and helps clients weigh legal risk against business goals.

He brings particular attention to transactional work and problem-solving that touches on contracts, corporate structures and regulatory questions. His political science background gives extra context for matters with public policy implications. He approaches each matter by breaking it into its component parts, then advising clients on options and likely consequences. The process tends to be methodical and detail-oriented, but he aims to keep the dialogue accessible for nonlawyers.

Outside of his formal credentials, Schuetzle’s career reflects an interest in the intersection of law and commerce. He regularly draws on both strands of his education when advising clients. That combination allows him to situate legal advice within broader business strategy rather than treating legal work as a separate silo.

He continues to practice in North Dakota, helping individuals and organizations address legal and business issues that arise in the state.
