About Jordan Reed
Jordan Reed Byhring took a winding route to the law. He earned his B.A. in history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009 and returned to the Midwest to complete his J.D. at the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota School of Law in 2016. Those years framed both a broad liberal arts foundation and a focused legal education.
Before law school, Byhring worked in the private sector as a senior sales account executive at Schneider Logistics in Chicago. That role gave him an early education in contract terms, deadlines and client service. He moved into law school with practical experience and an eye for how legal work connects to business realities.
During his legal studies he held several certified and internship positions that exposed him to public-sector legal work. In 2015 he served as a student certified lawyer at the Anoka County Public Defender’s office, handling client interviews and courtroom appearances under supervision. That same year he worked as a student certified lawyer with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, where administrative processes and regulatory compliance were central. He also spent time in 2014 as a legal compliance and complaint intern at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, which added another layer of public institutional practice to his résumé.
After law school, Byhring began his post-graduate legal career as an associate lawyer in 2017 at Kralovec & Marquard, Chartered. There he developed courtroom experience and handled matters typical of a general litigation practice. His daily work in those early years reinforced the skills he had built in law school: factual investigation, motion practice and client counseling.
Byhring is a member of the State Bar of Illinois and belongs to both the Kane County and DuPage County bar associations. Those memberships reflect a practice centered in Illinois and an engagement with the local legal community.
He practices at Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC. His background blends public-sector internships, private-sector business experience and early litigation work. Conversations with clients, courtroom preparation and case strategy are recurring themes in his work. His current practice concentrates on civil litigation in Illinois, representing clients in state-level matters.
