About Jordan Lee
Jordan Lee Zoretic followed a steady educational path into the law. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Austin Peay State University in 2010. He attended Charlotte School of Law in 2014 and completed his Juris Doctor at Appalachian School of Law in 2017. Those years of study gave him a mix of classroom instruction and practical training that shaped his early approach to legal work.
After finishing law school in 2017, Zoretic moved into practice. He applied what he had learned in clinics and coursework to client matters and courtroom procedures. Early assignments tested his ability to prepare filings, manage discovery and meet court deadlines. The transition from student to practicing lawyer was straightforward, but constant learning remained part of the routine.
Zoretic is an attorney at Jackson & MacNichol. At the firm he handles client representation across a range of matters the office takes on. His day-to-day work includes drafting pleadings, preparing for hearings, conferring with clients and negotiating resolutions when those options are available. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and attentive to procedural detail.
He balances research and motion practice with client-facing work. That combination means he spends hours behind the scenes on legal analysis and similar hours in meetings and court. The result is a practice built around practical problem solving rather than theory alone. He has continued to rely on the foundational skills honed during law school while adapting them to the realities of a law office and the demands of ongoing cases.
Outside the office, Zoretic keeps professional ties current and maintains memberships that support his standing as a practicing lawyer. He remains based at Jackson & MacNichol and pursues regular updates in the law to stay current on developments that affect his clients. His current practice focuses on representing the firm’s clients in matters handled by Jackson & MacNichol.
