About Jordan
Jordan Jeter earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. She completed the academic work that led her to a legal career and then chose to practice in Oregon. Her legal education provided classroom training and clinical experience that shaped her approach to the work she now does in practice.
After law school, Jeter entered the Oregon legal community. She holds membership in the Multnomah Bar Association and Oregon Women Lawyers, organizations she uses for professional development and collegial connections. Those memberships place her in regular contact with other lawyers and judges across the state and region.
Over the years she has built experience in the daily demands of firm practice. At McKean Smith she joined a team that handles a range of matters for clients in the state. Her role involves advising clients, preparing filings and participating in negotiations. She works on tasks that require careful attention to procedural detail and client communication.
Colleagues describe her as practical in approach. She prefers clear legal writing and a steady presence in court and client meetings. That style fits the work she does at a firm where responsiveness and clarity are regular expectations. She balances courtroom readiness with paperwork, often moving between client consultations and case preparation in a single day.
Jeter has remained active in local professional circles. Through the Multnomah Bar Association she attends continuing legal education and local bar events. Her membership in Oregon Women Lawyers connects her to programs that support women in the profession, mentoring opportunities and policy discussions relevant to practitioners across Oregon.
Today she practices at McKean Smith in Oregon. Her current work centers on representing clients through the state court system and providing legal counsel on matters presented by individuals and organizations. She remains based in Oregon and continues to participate in bar activities and community programs related to the legal profession.
