About Jonathan
Jonathan Rudnick built a legal foundation that began in the classroom and moved quickly into the courthouse. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University in 1987 and then turned to law, completing his J.D. at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 1990. Those years shaped his approach to cases and clients, supplying both technical grounding and courtroom exposure.
Fresh from law school, Rudnick served as a law clerk to Judge Stamelman of the Superior Court of New Jersey in 1990. The clerkship offered an early look at trial procedure and judicial decision-making. It also put him in the middle of state-level civil matters at an important moment in a young lawyer’s career.
By 1991 he joined Rudnick Addonizio Pappa as an associate. That role allowed him to take on a caseload and learn the practical demands of representation. Over the years he moved into leadership and in 2007 became a partner at The Law Office of Jonathan Rudnick. Running his own office shifted many responsibilities onto him: case strategy, client counseling, and the business side of practice.
Rudnick has maintained steady ties to professional organizations. He holds membership in the New York State Bar and has been active in the New Jersey State Bar Association since 2001. He joined the National Association of Consumer Advocates in 1998 and has kept that affiliation current. Earlier in his career he served as a trustee of the Monmouth County Bar Association from 1996 to 2004. Those roles reflect long-term engagement with peers and with issues affecting consumers and civil litigants.
His practice spans New York and New Jersey. Over time he has balanced courtroom work with client counseling and managing his office. Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic in handling disputes. Clients seek him out for issues that require persistence and an understanding of both state systems.
