About Jonathan M.
Jonathan M. Mofsky built his legal foundation at Boston University, where he earned a B.A. in 2003, and then at the University of Miami School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2006. He completed his legal education in Florida and later established his practice in the state. Those formative years provided the classroom training and early practical exposure that shaped his approach to client work.
He became a shareholder at Siegfried Rivera in 2008. That role placed him in a firm known for handling complex matters in Florida’s property and community association landscape. Over time he has concentrated his work on issues tied to condominium and planned developments, a specialization recognized by The Florida Bar through board certification. The certification indicates an acknowledged level of competence in that particular field of law.
Mofsky holds current membership in the Florida State Bar. His standing allows him to appear in Florida courts and advise clients on state law matters. In practice he deals with legal questions that arise in association governance, property records, and development compliance. He also handles disputes that require litigation or negotiated resolution when associations, developers, or owners cannot reach agreement.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the approach to casework. He balances negotiation and advocacy. He prepares written opinions and contractual documents, and he represents clients in hearings and trials when needed. His work touches on statutory interpretation, contractual obligations among stakeholders, and regulatory matters that affect how associations operate and how developments proceed.
Outside of direct client representation, Mofsky participates in activities that keep him current on changes in condominium and planned development law. He follows amendments to state statutes and local ordinances that affect community associations. He also monitors appellate decisions that clarify obligations and liabilities for associations and developers.
As of 2026 he practices at Siegfried Rivera in Florida. His practice concentrates on condominium and planned development law.
