About Jonathan

Jonathan Lowe built his path to the law in Texas. He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management at Texas A&M University, College Station in 2011. He then attended Baylor Law School and earned his J.D. in 2014. Those years in school set the stage for a career spent largely in criminal courts.

Lowe began his prosecutorial work soon after law school. In 2015 he joined the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office as an assistant district attorney. He handled a range of criminal matters there, gaining courtroom experience on both routine and complex dockets. Two years later he moved to the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, again serving as an assistant district attorney. That position extended his exposure to jury trials, evidentiary hearings, and pretrial litigation in one of Texas’s busiest jurisdictions.

After several years in county prosecution, Lowe shifted to private practice. In 2023 he opened The Lowe Law Office, PLLC, where he leads the firm as owner. The move to private practice followed nearly a decade of work inside district attorney offices, and it allowed him to change roles from advocate for the state to advocate for individual clients.

Lowe holds board certification in criminal law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential reflects a certification process set by the board and is recognized within the Texas legal community. He is also admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, which allows him to appear in federal court when necessary.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation and direct in court. He has worked on cases that required close attention to procedure, forensic evidence and witness preparation. Those elements often determine outcomes in criminal matters, and they shaped Lowe’s daily work whether he was prosecuting or defending.

Outside court, he has maintained professional memberships since shortly after law school. He continues to engage with local legal circles in North Texas and the region surrounding San Antonio and Fort Worth. His practice combines trial experience from the public sector with the individualized representation expected in private practice.

He is based at The Lowe Law Office, PLLC, where he handles criminal matters across state and federal venues. He currently focuses his practice on criminal defense and related litigation at the firm.
