Jonathan Harry Wasserman is a board-certified criminal trial attorney based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since 1997, he has been practicing law in Palm Beach County, establishing a strong reputation in the legal community. Mr. Wasserman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law, in 1997. Prior to his legal education, he graduated with honors from the University of Miami in 1994, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History and Criminology. This academic background laid a solid foundation for his legal career. After completing law school, Mr.

Wasserman began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for Palm Beach County. During his tenure, he handled many criminal cases, including DUIs, domestic violence, drug offenses, and serious violent crimes such as homicide. His experience as a prosecutor provided him with comprehensive knowledge of criminal trial law, equipping him with the skills necessary to navigate complex legal issues. In 2003, he transitioned to private practice, focusing exclusively on criminal defense, which marked a significant shift in his career. In 2007, Mr. Wasserman founded The Law Office of Jonathan Wasserman, P.A. This firm specializes in various areas of criminal defense, including DUI, domestic battery, assault, drug cases, firearms charges, burglary, and homicide. His commitment to defending clients is evident in his thorough approach and experience.

As a member of several professional associations, including the Palm Beach County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Mr. Wasserman remains actively engaged in the legal community. His involvement in the legal field extends beyond private practice. From 2004 to 2010, he served on the Florida Bar Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for Palm Beach County. He also contributed to the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for Palm Beach County from 2012 to 2015. Mr. Wasserman is admitted to practice law in Florida and the U.S.

District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In 2007, he achieved board certification in criminal trial law from The Florida Bar, a prestigious designation that shows his expertise and dedication to the field. Outside of his legal career, Mr. Wasserman pursues personal interests that reflect his adventurous spirit. He is an avid scuba diver and holds certifications as a Divemaster and Rescue Diver. Additionally, he is a sponsor of Pet Haven Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue organization in Palm Beach County.
