About Jonathan
Jonathan Galley built a foundation in the liberal arts before turning to the law. He graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2001 with a B.A. in history. Two years later he completed a teaching certification at Texas Tech University. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa in 2010.
Galley’s path to the bar ran through a mix of classroom study and legal training. The undergraduate study of history trained him to trace threads across long documents and complex events. The teaching certification added formal training in communication and explanation. He completed law school at Tulsa, where he acquired the doctrinal grounding that underpins his legal work.
In the years after law school, Galley established himself in private practice. He joined Liggett Law Group, P.C., where he practices as an attorney. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in courtroom presentations. He has handled matters that require careful factual development and clear written advocacy.
Galley’s background in history and education shows up in his approach to cases. He takes a structured view of legal problems, breaking issues into discrete elements and tracing how evidence fits together. That method suits both transactional work and contested matters. He also places emphasis on explaining options to clients in plain language, a habit traced back to his training in education.
Outside the details of litigation and brief writing, Galley pays close attention to the practical side of representation. He prepares clients for hearings, frames questions that need answers, and plans next steps in stages rather than all at once. He values clarity over flourish and prefers steady progress to grand gestures.
Today Galley continues to practice at Liggett Law Group, P.C. He represents clients in the firm’s practice areas and handles matters that require careful legal analysis and clear client communication.
