About Jonathan
Jonathan Dichter began his academic path at the University of Akron, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. He went on to receive his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. The combination of a liberal arts grounding and a law degree set the stage for a career centered on criminal and DUI defense work.
After law school, Dichter moved into private practice and, in 2004, became the owner of DUI Heroes. He has led the firm since then, managing its caseload and overseeing client representation. His role as owner has kept him involved in the day-to-day practice as well as the administrative side of running a small legal office.
Dichter holds a Certificate of Completion from the National College of DUI Defense. That credential indicates additional training in DUI law and procedures. He uses that specialized training in advising clients who face impaired driving charges and related legal issues.
He maintains an active membership in the Washington State Bar. He also belongs to multiple professional organizations. Those include the Snohomish County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Citizens for Judicial Excellence. His participation in these groups keeps him connected to developments in state and national criminal law practice.
Dichter’s work centers on DUI defense. He handles case intake, client counseling, and representation in hearings and negotiations. He has focused his practice on matters that stem from impaired driving allegations, working through the evidentiary and procedural challenges those cases present. Colleagues and clients most often encounter him in court-related settings and in pretrial proceedings tied to DUI charges.
Over the years he has balanced the demands of running a practice with staying current on DUI-specific training and resources. He combines formal education, ongoing professional development, and hands-on case work as part of his approach. His current practice focuses on DUI defense and related criminal matters.
