About Jonathan D.
Jonathan D. Marx earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, receiving his J.D. in 1986. He entered the profession after completing his studies in Brooklyn. The law school training provided a foundation in litigation and courtroom procedure that has informed his subsequent career.
By 2003 Marx was serving as a senior trial lawyer at the Law Offices of Robert Katz. There he handled contested matters and developed practical courtroom experience. That period forged his trial skills and exposed him to complex case preparation, client counseling and litigation strategy.
In 2013 he joined KaplunMarx Accident & Injury Lawyers as a partner. He stepped into a leadership role at a firm that handles accident and injury claims across multiple locations. His title at the firm is Lawyer & Partner, and he is part of a team that represents people injured in collisions and other accidents.
Marx is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He holds membership in the respective state bars and practices under those licenses. His work centers on accident and personal injury litigation, where he manages cases from investigation through trial when necessary.
Colleagues and clients have looked to him for courtroom experience and steady case handling. He has worked on matters that require drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, negotiating with insurers and presenting evidence at trial. He balances preparation for trial with efforts to resolve cases earlier when doing so serves a client’s interests.
Today Marx continues at KaplunMarx Accident & Injury Lawyers, where the firm maintains multiple offices and serves clients across state lines. He remains active in trial practice and handles accident and injury claims on behalf of injured individuals. His current practice focuses on representing clients in accident and personal injury matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
