About Jonathan Blair
Jonathan Blair Biser is a partner at Hardison & Cochran Attorneys at Law, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. He leads the firm’s Social Security Disability division, a role he has held since joining the firm in 2005. In 2015, he became a partner, reflecting his commitment to the firm and its clients. His practice primarily focuses on assisting individuals in navigating the complex requirements for obtaining Social Security Disability benefits, a critical service for many in need. Mr. Biser earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 2002. He then pursued a legal education at North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2005.
During his time in law school, he served as a staff member on the Law Review and chaired the student Trial Advocacy Board, showcasing his leadership abilities and dedication to legal scholarship. Since 2020, Mr. Biser has served on the North Carolina State Bar’s Social Security Disability Specialization Committee, and he has been the committee chair since 2023. This role allows him to contribute to the development of standards and practices in the field. In 2024, he expanded his practice by joining Deuterman Law Group, where he continues to represent clients in Social Security Disability cases throughout the Triangle area. He has been a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 2005, maintaining his commitment to legal excellence in the state. He serves as chair of deacons at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary, North Carolina, where he participates in initiatives aimed at repurposing church property for affordable housing.
