About Johnathan J

Johnathan J Azar studied at Seton Hall University where he earned both his Bachelor of Arts and his Juris Doctor. He remained close to campus early in his legal career, working within the university’s summer institute for pre-legal studies while still a student. Those years provided an early taste of teaching and mentoring around the basics of legal thinking.

After law school, Azar began building practical experience through a series of clerkships. He served as a law clerk at The Law Offices of Hanna/Perez, PC, where he supported attorneys on day-to-day case preparation. He later took a graduate assistant role at Seton Hall University School of Law’s Summer Institute for Pre-Legal Studies, helping to organize curriculum and guide students exploring legal careers.

Azar returned to clerking at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., a firm where he has since remained on staff. In those roles he handled legal research, prepared drafts of pleadings and memoranda, and assisted in client intake and file management. The combination of academic and practical positions gave him steady exposure to courtroom procedure, evidence review and document drafting.

He is admitted to the New Jersey bar. That admission allowed him to move from support roles into more substantive practice tasks at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. Colleagues describe him as thorough in his preparation and methodical in his approach to case files. He has continued to build experience in litigation support and client work since joining the firm’s office.

Azar’s path follows a common route: strong ties to a local law school, early assistantships that included teaching components, and successive clerkships that translated academic training into courtroom and office practice. He now applies those experiences in a New Jersey law office setting, working on matters that come through the firm and assisting more senior attorneys on trial preparation and client services.

He currently practices at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., where he works on matters for clients in New Jersey.
