About John Theodore
John Theodore Boundas earned his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1995. He moved into public service immediately after graduation, taking a clerkship at the Department of Justice the same year. The early years of his career were shaped by government work and courtroom exposure.
After his time at the Department of Justice, Boundas entered private practice. In 1996 he joined Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. as a litigation lawyer. He spent those years handling complex disputes and sharpening trial skills. Cases required careful preparation and an ability to manage litigation across stages, from investigation through motion practice and trial.
In 2001 Boundas shifted his focus to personal injury law and joined Williams Kherkher. That move marked a turn toward representing individuals injured by negligence and other wrongful acts. He has managed cases through discovery and trial, applying earlier litigation experience to the needs of injured clients. The blend of government, large-firm litigation and plaintiff-side work informs his approach in the courtroom.
Boundas is admitted in multiple jurisdictions. His practice includes the state bars of Illinois, Texas and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in the federal courts of the 3rd and 5th Circuits. Those admissions allow him to handle matters at both the state and federal level and to respond to complex procedural questions that arise in multi-jurisdictional litigation.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Houston Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and belongs to the American Association for Justice. These associations have provided forums for continuing legal education and for staying current on developments in evidence, procedure and trial practice.
Throughout his career Boundas has moved between roles that require different skills. He began in a government clerkship, then handled litigation for a large national firm, and later transitioned to personal injury advocacy. Those shifts reflect a practice built on courtroom experience and an understanding of how litigation strategies change depending on the client and the forum.
He practices at Williams Kherkher, where he continues to take on personal injury matters and related litigation. He represents individuals in personal injury cases and handles litigation in both state and federal courts.
