John Sickel was a criminal defense attorney based in Canton, Texas, with over 35 years of experience in the field. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982 and held Bar Card Number 18339500. His practice areas included criminal law, DUI & DWI, traffic tickets, and white-collar crime.
He was also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating cum laude.
He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University in 1981. Throughout his career, John handled many cases, from traffic tickets to serious criminal offenses. His experience included serving as an Assistant District Attorney, elected Criminal District Attorney, and Judge Advocate in the Texas Military Forces.
