About John
John Schank took a direct route into law. He completed his legal studies at the University of Florida, earning his J.D. in 2017. Those years at law school shaped how he approaches problems today. He came away with a methodical regard for research and an appetite for courtroom work.
After graduation he moved into practice and began building hands-on experience. Early in his career he worked on matters that required careful factual investigation and clear written advocacy. He learned to translate complex legal concepts into plain terms for clients and to set priorities when cases changed quickly.
Over time his work expanded to include both litigation preparation and client counseling. He has spent time drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, and taking depositions. Those tasks have given him familiarity with the rhythms of litigation from the first filing through trial preparation. Courtroom time has been part of his practice, and he approaches hearings and trial days with quiet focus and steady preparation.
Colleagues describe him as practical and unshowy. He prefers to let the work speak for itself.
