About John P.

John P. Dogum built his legal foundation at Susquehanna University, where he earned a B.S. in finance in 1988. He went on to complete his law degree at Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1992. Those years shaped the practical and analytical skills he brings to his work today.

After law school, Dogum entered practice in Pennsylvania. Over time he moved into leadership at Martin Law, where he serves as a partner. Colleagues describe him as steady in court and deliberate in preparation. He handles casework that requires both negotiation at the table and advocacy at trial.

Dogum’s practice centers on workers’ compensation and related civil matters. He works on claims arising from workplace injuries and disputes over benefits. He represents employers, insurers, and injured workers at different stages of claims and appeals. His courtroom work includes hearings before administrative judges and litigation in state courts when cases escalate beyond the administrative system.

He holds a Pennsylvania workers’ compensation certification through the Pennsylvania Bar Association. That credential supports his handling of statutory nuances and procedural requirements unique to the state system. Dogum also maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. He belongs to the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice, and he is part of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Those memberships keep him connected to a network of trial practitioners and to continuing legal education opportunities. Dogum has used that network to stay current on changes in workers’ compensation law, administrative procedure, and trial practice. He favors clear presentations in hearings and relies on documentary evidence and witness testimony when cases move to trial.

He practices out of Martin Law LLC and carries an active presence in Pennsylvania legal circles. His work involves advising clients on claim strategy, representing them in administrative hearings, and pursuing or defending appeals when necessary. He currently practices at Martin Law LLC, representing clients in Pennsylvania workers’ compensation and related civil litigation matters.
