John L. Olson is an attorney based in Kealakekua, Hawaii, with over five decades of experience in personal injury law. In 1975, he joined the Office of the Public Defender in Hilo, where he quickly rose to the position of supervising Deputy for the Big Island. By 1978, John had established his own private practice in Kona, which later expanded to include offices in Kealakekua and Kamuela. This lets the attorney serve a broader clientele. John earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1973. He served as the Symposium Editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Student Bar Association Board of Governors. Prior to this, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa in 1969. With a career spanning over 50 years, John L.
