About John N. Zomoida

John N. Zomoida Jr. earned his J.D. from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2000. He moved into practice at the turn of the century and built a career that bridges both municipal law and bankruptcy matters. His legal training in Cleveland shaped the early contours of his work.

He serves as a managing member of Anthony & Zomoida, where he supervises firm operations and case strategy. In that role he handles an array of matters that reflect the firm’s practice areas. He also holds a public appointment as Director of Law and Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Struthers, Ohio, a position that places him at the intersection of municipal governance and local prosecution.

Zomoida is admitted to practice in Ohio and before the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Those admissions signal regular involvement in bankruptcy cases at both the district and federal levels. The combination of bankruptcy court experience and municipal work gives him a dual perspective on public law and creditor-debtor disputes.

His involvement in the bar community extends to the Mahoning County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association, where he maintains current memberships. He participates in the local legal community and appears regularly in county and federal dockets. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach; he tends to favor clear legal reasoning and steady case management.

Over the years Zomoida’s work has included courtroom appearances, municipal advisement, and representation of clients in bankruptcy proceedings. He has handled matters that require coordination with city officials as well as litigators in federal bankruptcy courts. That practical mix defines much of his day-to-day practice.

Zomoida keeps an office base at Town One Square. From there he balances the responsibilities of private practice and his municipal role. He continues to handle both public and private clients, drawing on his courtroom experience and municipal law background.

He currently focuses his practice on bankruptcy and municipal matters.
