About John Hamilton
\n\nBorn and raised in Cobb County, John earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Rice University in 1993. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating in 1996.\n\nAfter law school, John co-founded Skelton & Skelton Attorneys in 1999, handling a diverse caseload that included real estate, probate, civil, criminal. Landlord-tenant matters.
Following his father's retirement, he and Marla Blackstone established Skelton & Blackstone Attorneys, LLC, continuing to serve the Marietta community.\n\nIn addition to his legal practice, John has been recognized for his achievements outside the courtroom. He is a three-time Jeopardy! champion and a concert cellist, performing with The Marietta Pops Orchestra.
