About John Frederick Day
John Frederick Day II earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from Arizona State University in 2003 and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. He built his early academic foundation on broad study of government and law. Those years gave him the credential set lawyers rely on: an undergraduate grounding in political systems and a law degree that launched his legal career.
He began practicing soon after law school. In 2005 he worked as a lawyer for Thomson Reuters, a role that exposed him to a mixture of legal research, editorial standards and practical issues facing practitioners. That experience preceded his move into private practice and helped shape how he approaches legal problems: methodical, document-focused and attentive to precedent.
In 2014 he established The Law Office of John F. Day II. The firm represents clients in matters across Arizona and Florida, the two jurisdictions where he maintains admission. He has handled a range of client matters from the solo-firm perspective. Running his own office required him to manage case work, client relations and the business side of practice at the same time.
Outside the office he has been active in civic life. Since 2013 he has served as founding president of Keep Scottsdale Beautiful, an organization he helped create to address local environmental and community issues. He also holds current membership in the Florida Bar and participates in professional circles that keep him connected to peers in both Arizona and Florida.
Colleagues describe him as deliberate at the desk and engaged in community programs. He blends hands-on legal work with local involvement. That combination is reflected in how he staffs his practice and chooses matters he will pursue.
Today he operates The Law Office of John F. Day II. He practices in both Arizona and Florida and remains active in community initiatives that intersect with local policy and environmental concerns. He currently practices law, representing clients in matters across Arizona and Florida.
