About John Francis

John Francis Campbell earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2005. He also holds a certification in civil litigation from the same law school. His legal training began in the classroom and moved quickly into the courtroom, a trajectory that shaped the next two decades of his work.

He started his professional career in 2005 as an assistant district lawyer in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. That early role put him on a steady path through trial work. He handled courtroom responsibilities that built a foundation in litigation and case management. The time he spent on the prosecutorial side gave him a hands-on sense of trial procedure and evidence handling.

In 2010 he joined Martin Clearwater & Bell, LLP as an associate. He then moved in 2012 to Stephen Bilkis & Associates where he served as a trial lawyer. Two years later he became an associate at Milber Makris Plousadis & Seiden, LLP. In 2015 he took on the title of senior trial lawyer at Raiser & Kenniff. Each move marked a step deeper into civil and trial practice, accumulating courtroom experience across different firm environments.

Campbell is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey. Over time he has balanced roles that required litigation strategy, motion practice and trial preparation. His certified training in civil litigation complements the practical hours he has spent trying cases and preparing them for trial. The mix of prosecution early on and later defense and plaintiff-side work has given him a broad view of how cases unfold from filing to verdict.

He has maintained a regional presence, working across Long Island and Manhattan and handling matters that touch on the wider New York-New Jersey corridor. He has held positions in offices located in Mineola, Manhattan and Suffolk, providing clients accessibility across those communities.

Campbell’s career reads as steady progression through trial-centered roles and law firm positions. He has built practice experience that is rooted in courtroom work and civil litigation training. He practices civil litigation and trial matters across New York and New Jersey from offices in Mineola, Manhattan and Suffolk.
