John E. Russell is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Russell is the principal attorney at Allmark Trademark, a law firm located in Folsom, California. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout the state.

Mr. Russell earned his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1994. During his time at Santa Clara, he was awarded the Best Brief for Appellants at the Pace Environmental Moot Court Competition, which was published in the Pace Environmental Law Review in the Spring 1994 edition. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Ecology in 1990. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude, with a dual focus on law and environmental studies.

Mr. Russell concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, intellectual property, and personal injury. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving trademark law, patent law, and personal injury claims. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Russell has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Sacramento and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as a Judicial Research Attorney for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, where he researched and prepared judicial memos in civil law cases. He also served as an associate attorney at Hopkins & Carley in San Jose, focusing on business litigation matters, including intellectual property and contract disputes.

Mr. Russell is an active member of the State Bar of California. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Sacramento County Bar Association. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of California effectively.
