About John

John Bain built a practice at the meeting point of science and law. He studied biology as an undergraduate, earned a law degree and later returned to graduate study in regulatory science. Those steps have shaped the way he approaches client problems.

He earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Riverside in 2008. He then attended Arizona Summit Law School and received his J.D. in 2011. Years after beginning his legal career, he completed an M.S. in Regulatory Science Management at the University of Southern California in 2019. The combination of scientific training and legal education informs his understanding of technical regulatory issues.

Bain began his legal career in public service. In 2012 he worked as a law clerk at the Maricopa County Lawyer’s Office. That early experience exposed him to local government practice and client counseling under pressure. He moved into private practice the following year as an associate at Enholm Law, PLLC, where he handled a variety of civil matters and developed practical litigation skills.

Over the next several years Bain joined small firms and regional practices. He worked at the Liszewski Law Group in 2015 and then at Hall Underwood in 2016. In 2017 he took on a managing lawyer role at John Bain, PLLC. Those roles expanded his responsibilities beyond casework to include running daily operations and managing client relationships. They also gave him experience handling the administrative side of a law practice.

Since then he has operated under the name Law Office of John Bain. His practice draws on his academic background in biology and regulatory science, as well as his years in both public-sector and private-sector legal roles. He handles matters that intersect with regulatory compliance and civil litigation and often assists clients who need a lawyer who understands technical subject matter.

Colleagues and clients describe him as methodical and straightforward. He prefers clear explanations over legal jargon. He approaches disputes with an eye toward practical resolution rather than unnecessary complexity.

As of 2026 he continues to practice law in Arizona and runs the Law Office of John Bain. His current practice focuses on regulatory compliance, related civil disputes, and counseling clients on the legal aspects of technical and scientific issues.
