About John Allan
John Allan Watson earned his law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in 2011 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, where he took a B.A. in sociology and added a minor in philosophy. The academic path combined social science and critical thinking. It was a foundation that informed his early legal work and shaped the practical questions he asks of cases today.
Soon after graduating from law school, Watson took a post as an Assistant State Lawyer at the State Lawyer's Office in 2011. That role put him on the front lines of routine courtroom work and case management. He handled procedural matters, client interviews and the day-to-day tasks that keep a public office running. The experience offered a steady education in court rules and the pace of public-service litigation.
In 2015 he moved into private practice by joining Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. as a lawyer. The transition to the firm setting broadened the scope of his work. He took on tasks that ranged from client counseling to motion practice. Time in both public and private roles gave him a clear sense of how court strategies and client expectations differ across settings.
Watson maintains active involvement in professional circles. He is a member of the American Inns of Court and participates in programs that emphasize practical skills and professional conduct. Those meetings provide a forum for exchange with judges and fellow lawyers and serve as a regular check on courtroom technique and ethical standards.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and straightforward in client conversations. He approaches facts carefully and values procedural clarity. That approach can lead to focused hearings and concise submissions. It also informs how he evaluates settlement options and litigation exposure.
Today Watson practices at Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A., working in Florida. He draws on experience from his time in the State Lawyer's Office while handling matters that come through his firm. He currently practices law at Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A., concentrating on matters in Florida.
