About Joel Jackson
Joel Jackson Frick grew up outside the courtroom but found his way into it through study and steady work. He earned his undergraduate degree at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania before attending Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Those years set the foundation for a practice built around courtroom work and client representation.
After law school he established himself in Florida. Over time he built a small practice and in 2017 took the title of Owner and President of JJ Frick Law, P.A. Running a firm has combined case work with management, giving him daily exposure to both client strategy and the demands of firm operations.
Frick maintains active ties to the legal community. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and participates in the Trial Lawyer Division of the Florida Bar. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where he files and argues federal matters when cases require it.
His courtroom work has shaped how he approaches each file. He prepares cases for trial and handles pretrial litigation tasks that influence outcomes at every stage. Colleagues describe him as methodical in trial preparation and exacting in court filings. He balances advocacy with attention to procedure, a habit that matters in contested hearings and complex motion practice.
Beyond litigation, running a small firm has required him to oversee client intake, case management and the administrative work that keeps a practice functioning. That side of his work gives him a practical view of how cases move from consultation to resolution. Clients interact with him on case strategy and, when necessary, at hearings and trials in both state and federal courts in Florida.
He continues to live and work in Florida and to lead JJ Frick Law, P.A. His current practice centers on trial and litigation matters in Florida.
