About Joe
Joe Kennett built his legal foundation at Florida State University’s Panama City campus, earning a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations in 2006. He continued his studies at Florida Coastal School of Law and received his J.D. in 2010. Those years set the stage for a career that moved from public service into private practice and business-related legal work.
After law school, Kennett began work in the public sector. In 2011 he served as an Assistant State Lawyer at the State Lawyer’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida. That early position placed him in a trial-level office handling matters for the circuit and gave him front-line courtroom experience.
Kennett shifted into private practice a few years later. In 2014 he joined Yanger Law Group, P.A. as a litigation lawyer. The role expanded his exposure to contested matters and sharpened his courtroom skills. In 2017 he took a different path by becoming a founding partner and legal consultant at HK Title Solutions. That venture drew on transactional and title-related work and introduced him to the operational side of a legal services business.
He later became associated with Brick Business Law, P.A., where he is listed as a lawyer. His career path shows a mix of trial work, transactional projects, and in-house consulting. That variety informs how he approaches client problems and structures legal matters for businesses.
Kennett is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He maintains active membership in The Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Those professional ties keep him connected to developments in state and federal practice and to peers in the Tampa Bay legal community.
