About Jillian
Jillian Tate graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2013 and earned her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2018. Her time in law school included recognition by peers and faculty for trial advocacy skills. She later brought those skills into practice in Florida, where she has built a career that combines courtroom experience and client counseling.
Early in her professional life Tate moved from academic study to active practice. She began practicing law after finishing at St. Thomas, taking on matters across state courts and administrative settings. Colleagues describe her as methodical and precise. She has worked alongside teams on litigation strategy, case preparation and hearings, and she has represented individuals and organizations in a range of proceedings.
Tate’s involvement in professional organizations reflects an interest in advocacy and procedural practice. She is a member of The Order of Barristers, an honor society that recognizes excellence in advocacy. That affiliation ties to her law school background and to work that requires persuasive oral presentation and careful legal writing.
At Kelley Kronenberg she is part of a firm that handles a spectrum of legal work across Florida. Her role draws on the trial and appellate skills she developed in law school and during early practice. Tate contributes to case assessments, counsel meetings and courtroom proceedings, and she participates in drafting and motion practice. Clients and peers note her steadiness under pressure and attention to detail in complex files.
Outside of courtroom and office duties Tate has taken opportunities to stay current on state law developments and procedural changes. She attends continuing legal education and engages in firm-based training. That ongoing learning supports her day-to-day practice and helps when courts issue new guidance or when statutes are updated.
Her path from undergraduate study at Florida Atlantic University to the St. Thomas law program and into firm practice exemplifies a steady progression into the Florida legal community. She remains an active member of professional circles that value advocacy. She currently practices law in Florida at Kelley Kronenberg and concentrates her work on representing clients in matters arising under state law.
