About Jill Di

Jill Di Sciullo earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1999. She practices in Delaware and has built a career rooted in the state’s courts and nonprofit community. Her legal education and continued work in Delaware form the backbone of a practice that combines courtroom experience with community engagement.

Early in her career she moved into roles that connected legal work with public service. Over the years she has taken on leadership positions in local nonprofit organizations that serve children and families. That blend of law and service surfaces repeatedly in her professional life.

From 2017 to 2019 she served as Chair of the Delaware Adolescent Program, an organization that works with youth. She remains active there and is currently serving a second term as Secretary. She is also involved with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, where attorneys provide pro bono assistance, and she serves on the board of CASA Cecil County. Her membership in the Melson-Arsht Inn of Court places her among peers who focus on improving advocacy and ethics in the courtroom.

Colleagues describe her as practical and steady. She is comfortable in court settings and also in boardrooms and nonprofit meetings. Her work with CASA and the Delaware Adolescent Program reflects a sustained interest in systems that affect children, while participation in Delaware Volunteer Legal Services signals ongoing involvement in pro bono work.

Her day-to-day practice combines litigation skills and client counseling. She represents individuals and organizations in matters that arise in Delaware’s state courts and advises nonprofit clients on governance and related legal issues. Her courtroom experience is supported by continuing participation in local professional organizations and Inns of Court.

She balances casework with volunteer leadership and board service, often moving between advocacy on behalf of clients and governance work for community groups. Her current practice focuses on family- and youth-related legal matters and on providing pro bono and nonprofit counsel in Delaware.
