About Jill
Jill Cabai earned her law degree from Florida State University College of Law, completing her J.D. in 2006 after beginning studies in 2003. She moved into public service early in her career. That start shaped how she practices today.
In 2007 she joined the State Lawyer’s Office in Florida’s 20th Judicial Circuit as an assistant state lawyer. The role placed her in courtrooms and on the front lines of everyday legal work. It gave her experience in case preparation, client interviews, and courtroom procedures. Those years in the public sector provided a steady foundation for the next stage of her career.
Cabai has maintained ties to the local bar. She has been active in the Hendry/Glades Bar Association since 2007 and served as its vice president. That membership reflects a long-run presence in the legal community and continued engagement with colleagues across the region.
After her time in the state lawyer’s office, she established a private practice. She practices through Cabai Law Office, P.A. The firm handles matters for clients across Florida. In private practice she has applied courtroom experience and case management skills to advising and representing individuals who come to her office. She is known among peers for practical thinking in case strategy and for staying present in the procedural detail.
Colleagues and former clients describe her as steady in court and careful in preparation. She balances courtroom readiness with attention to client needs. She has kept a local practice footprint and worked to remain accessible to the communities she serves.
Outside the office she retains connections in local legal circles and has continued to participate in association activities. Her time as a vice president of the Hendry/Glades Bar Association broadened her network and deepened her familiarity with regional legal issues.
As a Florida-licensed attorney, she combines public-sector experience and private-practice work. She currently practices law through Cabai Law Office, P.A., representing clients in matters across Florida and maintaining a practice centered in the state.
