About Jessie

Jessie Lundberg earned her law degree from the University of Montana School of Law in 2008. She completed her legal education after studying at the Missoula campus. The years at law school shaped an interest in consumer protection and civil litigation that would guide her early work.

She began practicing in matters that often involved individual consumers and small businesses. Over time she developed steady experience in litigation strategy, case preparation and courtroom procedure. Her practice has included motions practice and appeals, and she is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit. Membership in national and state trial organizations has kept her engaged with evolving case law and procedural developments.

Lundberg joined the National Association of Consumer Lawyers in 2012. She became a member of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association in 2014. Those affiliations have provided forums for continuing legal education and peer discussion. She has participated in conferences and member meetings where practical litigation techniques and developments in consumer law are discussed.

Her courtroom work has tended to center on disputes arising from consumer finance and fair-debt-collection issues. She handles matters that range from contested collections and billing disputes to claims under consumer protection statutes. Cases have required both close attention to regulatory detail and traditional litigation skills — drafting complaints, arguing motions and preparing witnesses for trial.

Colleagues describe her as someone who prepares cases thoroughly and who is comfortable in both negotiation and litigation settings. She approaches client matters through practical assessment of risks and potential remedies. That pragmatic orientation informs decisions about when to seek settlement and when to press claims in court.

Lundberg practices from the Montana Consumer Law Center. Her work there involves representing individuals in consumer disputes and pursuing remedies under state and federal consumer statutes. She remains active in professional groups that address consumer-law developments and trial practice. She currently practices at the Montana Consumer Law Center, where she concentrates on consumer protection matters.
