About Jessica
Jessica Streeter built a path to law from a humanities background. She earned a B.A. in Philosophy from New Mexico State University before attending the University of New Mexico School of Law. Those early academic choices shaped how she approaches problems: careful, methodical and attentive to reasoning.
Her legal studies were followed by specialized training. Streeter holds a Certificate in Global Arbitration Law and Practice from Hamline University School of Law. That credential adds a formal grounding in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution to her general legal training.
She launched Streeter Law Office, LLC in 2020 and serves as owner and lawyer. The firm is based in New Mexico and Streeter is admitted to practice there. Before going solo, she was active in organized bar work, serving as Director of Region 4 for the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of New Mexico from 2019 to 2020. That role put her in touch with other early-career lawyers across the region and involved practical work on professional issues for newer members of the bar.
Community service has been part of her public life. Streeter joined the Board of Directors of La Casa in 2021. The following year she became president of the Dona Ana County Bar Association, a position she holds through the present. Her leadership roles in those organizations have involved governance and outreach work on local legal and community concerns.
Colleagues describe her practice style as pragmatic and thorough. She draws on formal arbitration training when handling disputes and on the practical lessons of running a small firm when advising clients. Streeter has balanced casework with bar leadership, moving between client representation and organizational responsibilities.
She practices in New Mexico through Streeter Law Office, LLC. Her current practice focuses on dispute resolution and representing clients in matters arising in New Mexico.
