About Jessica

Jessica Phillips built a legal pathway that began in liberal arts and moved steadily into courtroom work. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Austin College in 2009, then completed her Juris Doctor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2013. Those early academic choices set the stage for a practice grounded in both transactional understanding and litigation procedure.

Her early post-law school years included a stint at Bailey & Galyen in 2015, where she handled matters that exposed her to contested family law issues and courtroom practice. Two years later she joined Schneider Law Office, P.C., and in 2017 she stepped into the role of managing lawyer. The management role expanded her responsibilities beyond casework to include supervising staff, overseeing case strategy, and helping shape the office’s daily operations.

Phillips earned board certification in family law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential marks formal recognition of subject-matter expertise in family law under standards set by the state. It also underlines the central area around which much of her practice has developed: divorce, custody, child support and related family court proceedings.

She keeps active in local and state professional organizations. Her memberships include the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Tarrant County Family Bar and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. She is also affiliated with the Texas Bar College. Those affiliations provide regular contact with peers, continuing legal education opportunities and access to local court developments that affect family law practice.

Clients who work with Phillips encounter a lawyer who has moved from associate roles to firm leadership. Her work has involved contested hearings, negotiated settlements and the procedural demands of trial practice in Texas family courts. She handles case preparation, evidentiary work and the drafting of pleadings and agreements that reflect both legal and practical considerations.

The practice environment she maintains at Schneider Law Office, P.C. emphasizes representation in Texas family law matters. She is admitted to practice in Texas and her day-to-day work centers on the range of issues that arise in family court. Her current practice focuses on family law matters, including divorce, custody and support issues.
